The (Witch’s) Lunar Cycle

I go with the moon

Whatever she says, becomes so

If she grows,

Then my heart swells with metaphysical anticipation

and when she wanes

I release all that weighs on my spirit

With my soul shall she mesh -

The guiding light that shines through;

A bright and dark entity that

aids my emotional balancing act

At maximum peak I unfold at will

Regaining the zest for new capacities

And when it is time for withdrawal,

I rebirth myself anew,

Growing just like the moon within me

~ “it’s just a phase”
